Freedom of Self
To be the Air Champion you must show freedom, be on your journey to be your true self, help others, and have a desire for freedom. Many rebel leaders end up getting the air mark as they fight for freedom for themselves and others. Since Zephyr travels between all realms it’s all about making a scene at the right moment of their passing.
Zephyr travels a lot of realms; though they tend to stay away from grand conflicts, they do try to help by choosing champions who believe in freedom, understand themselves and will try to bring freedom to others.
Price of Freedom
Perceptions of air champions are varied. Some people have a sense of comfort when the Air Champion is around, while some lawmakers and heads of government see air champions as mischief makers and a problem. Air champions usually become the source of great conflicts; when trying to make big changes in the realms, you are going to get a few enemies.
Relationship with Air
Air God asks nothing of their champions, only that they never use their powers to take freedom away from others to never become the oppressive force that they fight. Air champions are able to denounce their mark whenever they choose to. Air God isn’t quick to take the mark away either, even if the actions of their champions aren't ones they would always approve.
Playing an Air Champion
Air champions have a large array of control abilities to move opponents and keep everyone where you want them to be in combat. Air champions with their mark have a greater range of movement, being able to jump without having to spend double movement. The signature ability of shattered winds can help control the battlefield and keep you safe from danger. Air champions are quick and have a strong sense in their beliefs, their key skills being acrobatics, agility & mind. But how will your air champion be? Will they embrace true freedom and break the mold?
Challenge Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆
Air Mark
When you are first chosen by Zephyr you gain the air mark wherever you choose on your body and gain Air Manipulation as your free power. As the Air Champion, you have a lightness to your step, you don’t apply any of your weight to what you step on. Additionally, your standing jump is equal to your full movement and you take half as much collision damage from all sources, falling, being shoved, etc. When combat starts, air champions can activate a song ability without spending an action, as long as they aren’t ambushed.

Air Lore
Tune of Freedom
Zephyr is known as the Freedom God & God of Music. Their main title given by mortals is the God of Air due to them seemingly being made of pure air and their mastery of the winds themself. For their second name of Freedom, a lot of progressive movements will use Zephyr's symbol in protests. Zephyr is known to be against the very contract all the Gods signed, still speaking about it to this day. This act of defiance against Celestion makes Zephyr loved by some and disliked by others. A known God to dislike them is the Sky God, while they tend to have a good relationship with the Lightning gods.
No Domain
Most Gods have a domain; this is the area in which they rule, and their Light influences greatly change the environment to reflect that. This tends to make new kinds of plants and animals and causes environments that wouldn’t exist naturally without the gods' presence. Given Zephyr's nomadic nature they have no domain to call their own, so it’s rare for animals, plants, environments or mortals tend to have Light similar to Zephyr’s.
They Way the Wind Blows
Zephyr seems to have been born in what is now Dial when it was a simple realm of boiling Volcanos; it's believed this happened billions of years ago. The Light that made air somehow after many years grew a Mind and was able to have its Light grow even further. During the War of Darkness, Zephyr never fought, but it is known they were against the godly contract despite eventually signing it.
