Frigid Champion

Journeying through Frigid

To Become the Champion of an entire realm is a lot of work, you must partake in the Trial of Frigid. A set of challenges that take place all over the realm, each a different environment for you to practise your abilities. Open Oceans, Massive Cliffs, Mountain heights and twisting caves. As the Frigid Champion your duty is to protect your realm above all else this doesn't mean you never leave just that you should have a good reason for it. This also allows the new Frigid Champion to grow accustomed to the people they will be protecting. 

Duty to The Realm

As the Frigid Champion you have a lot of responsibility to your realm, you count as one of the Chiefs when a meeting is called you're expected to show up. Your opinion holds a lot of weight when discussing the conflicts of the realm.

Relationship with Frigid

He has a good relationship with many of his champions being a very sentimental god he mourns their death and would never take the mark away unless it’s for a very good reason. When one of his champions die it takes him awhile before he chooses another. The Frigid Mark can be given up at anytime.

Playing Frigid Champion

Frigid powers are about controlling the mobility of yourself and opponents. Slowing, Restraining and making opponents fall prone. Making Frigid Champions great trapper characters. The typical Frigid Champion has High Medicine, Athletics and Perception.

Frigid Mark

When you are first chosen by Ulfook you gain the Frigid Mark on your back. As the Frigid Champion you don’t suffer any effects due to cold weather Your internal body temperature is also colder than any other mortal.  You are able to skate across ice, meaning when you move on ice you can choose to double your movement and suffer no negative effects from ice. You gain the Create Ice power for free, and as the Frigid champion you count as being one size larger than you actually are at all times. Finally you are resistant to Frigid damage.

Rest & Relaxing

Ulfook is known as the God of Frigid & the God of Relaxation. Ulfook is considered the God of the whole Frigid. Before the War of Darkness no mortals lived in the realm, and when mortals first appeared it was quite hostile. A group of Mortals found themselves in the coldest most North part of the realm, the Sun had set and their death was certain with it. Until a massive mountain appeared resting itself around them and protecting the mortals from the frozen winds. This mountain range was Ulfook. He still rests there till this day. So the people of Frigid Honour him by declaring him the god of the whole realm. The title of Relaxation comes from the fact Ulfook sleeps a lot, there is a celebration when he tends to wake up a big party and people go to his nose to hang and chat with him. The people of Frigid have a great sense of relaxation and taking care of themselves because of Ulfook it is seen as important especially living in a realm that can be quite hostile. 

Too Sleepy

Ulfook past is quite unknown, he lived on a Realm as the only deity before the war of darkness. During it he didn’t fight, only saw the Lights in the Sky, sometimes even the bodies of deities falling from the Sky. When asked about himself he doesn't know how he became so powerful. Light tends to grow the longer one lives he suggests maybe he just fell asleep for so long. What is known is he refers to himself as the last true giant, that their use to be others as big as around Frigid but they’ve all gone now.

Many Friends 

Ulfook is not just liked by mortals but plenty of Gods too, ones that travel are known to come and visit him when he wakes up. Air & the Lightning Gods, even the Moon is always full when he first wakes up. The Sun God and him have a strained relationship for obvious reasons.
