You can turn yourself, someone or something within range invisible, you or them can end this whenever they wish, while being invisible you gain a few benefits every object you carry at the point the ability is used is also invisible. When the invisible target uses an ability that ability is also invisible. An invisible person can hide no matter where they are, they gain a bonce + on all Stealth rolls, reactions can’t be taken against you unless your Invisibility is tampered with, with a detect like ability.  An Invisible creature can be found with a look check, but you can always just throw AOEs at random.
