You gain a pool of d6s equal to two times your Diplomacy modifier, when someone does a d20 roll or a hack/lockpick roll you can add as many d6s to that roll as you’d like after the roll has been completed. Once you determine how many d6s you’re using you can’t add more after they’ve been rolled.
