Nature’s Underdogs
No god made humans - or some might say, animals - but he doesn't take credit for the beauty of evolution. Humans had a simple beginning compared to other species, evolving from a long lost primate. Humans quickly became intelligent with little to no influence from the gods. They have live births - two humans mate and can give birth to another human. They tend to gestate for nine months and the baby is born helpless, tending to live with the parents for 18 years. Humans have more natural skin colours with a wide variety of hair textures, and have some sort of hair cover all throughout their bodies even if it’s very small. Humans can have otherworldly eyes and hair colour depending on which god's light they are around most.
The Once-great Human Kingdom
Little is known about humans before the War of Darkness but it’s believed that at one point all humans lived under one kingdom in the Realm of Ture under the rule of the now-Sun God, Moon God and now-decided god referred to as the Star God. The kingdom was destroyed when it was discovered that the God of Darkness was hiding beneath it. Once the kingdom was destroyed, humanity split apart, finding new places to live, forming new communities, and becoming more diverse for the better. Some people still wish to go back to the old times, but others do not mourn the life they didn’t know and instead enjoy the new lives humans have made for themselves.
Human Culture
Humans can be found everywhere and in abundance. Humans have a variety of cultures, taking up some from the other species they live with, and new ones based on where they find themselves. A lot of these cultures have similarities because of the one Kingdom all humans use to live in, but still vary greatly. Humans are always in a battle of individuality vs wanting communities based on similarities.
Humans as Champions
Humans are very popular champions. There are so many to choose from, losing a few is fine. Humans tend to be devoted to the most variety of gods so have a higher chance of being picked.
Skilled
Humans don’t gain a special perk compared to the other species, but they do gain 25 free skill points to put anywhere except Special Skills. Humans tend to learn lots of different skills throughout their lives and like changing up what those skills are.
